The Team
JIM MARTIN
Jim is the CEO and founding partner of LAB 9 Films, with over 20 years of film distribution experience. He established Fanclub Studios in 2007, later selling it to Sony Pictures/The Orchard.
At The Orchard, Jim spearheaded the successful Paranormal Film program, producing top-selling UFO films such as *Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers*, *Unacknowledged*, and *Missing 411: The UFO Connection*.
His UFO research has been featured by The New York Times, Travel Channel, and Discovery Network.
Jim founded LAB 9 to raise earth’s awareness about the UFO Phenomenon through film production.
HENRY MARX
Henry Marx is a founding partner & executive producer in LAB 9 films.
Mr. Marx’s career includes not only films but he is also a pillar in the music industry and publishing business.
TURU MARX
Turu is a seasoned professional in the music industry with a diverse background in artist and repertoire (A&R) at a prominent record label. With a keen ear for talent and a passion for music, she has played a pivotal role in discovering and nurturing emerging artists. Prior to this, she gained valuable experience by working in one of LA’s top publicity firms where she honed skills in media relations and brand promotion.
In addition to her work behind the scenes, Turu is also a talented musician who has toured across England and the UK with her rock band, The Human Value. This unique combination of experience in both the creative and business sides of the music industry has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the industry.
Turu is also a practitioner of Kundalini Energy Activation, Breathwork and hypnosis, guiding others on their journeys toward wellness and spiritual awakening.
She has a deep connection to the world beyond what we see, including spirit visitations and precognitive messages received through dreams.
Her path has also led her to fascinating experiences beyond our planet. During CE-5 events, she has been witness to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena and giant glowing birds that have no explanation in this realm. These experiences have expanded her understanding of the universe, and our connection to it. Being part of the Lab 9 production team is one of her greatest pleasures, as we help to unfold the mysteries together.
ROBERT NAWROCKI
Robert Nawrocki, growing up in Southern CA amidst the studios and the stars, walked the studios of Paramount, Columbia and Warner Brothers, and rode the trams at Universal Studios. The movie business is literally ingrained in his DNA.
After graduating from University of Southern California, Nawrocki’s early experience first working with RSA and Ridley Scott in his Commercial studio, learning the business of two minute commercial productions.
He then began as an apprentice working directly with Jeff Panzer, the Chief Commissioner of Video Production for Universal Music (Los Angeles) and, ultimately, then Universal Music Chairman Doug Morris, and later becoming the youngest Director of Retail Marketing for Universal/ MCA (Los Angeles) at the age of 26 gives him a unique perspective. His knowledge and skills combined with his natural talent for filmmaking gives him the advantage of knowing how to successfully meld all aspects of the business.
Over the course of a decade, Robert’s innovative approach to creating films led to the prototype for large format film to be used as never before – across multiple mediums in both film and print advertising simultaneously, as spotlighted in Kodak’s prestigious In Camera magazine in October of 2004. As a result, Nawrocki’s work was showcased in extensive video and print campaigns and featured in such publications as Elle, Marie Claire, InStyle, Vanity Fair, W, and Cosmopolitan.
Other significant long format films shot and directed by Nawrocki under the Justifiable Films umbrella were “Project Remember”, which was filmed in Japan and commemorated the 50th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb as documented by the survivors, and an on-going project about September 11, 2001.
Five years ago, Nawrocki quietly made the move to Las Vegas to create a production company filming all the live events at Thomas and Mack arena for JEG.
